More info about the project

In cooperation with ACFD and the Ministry of Culture of Albania, this project was implemented by UNOPS Albania within the framework of the EU4Culture programme. Representing a substantial contribution to the promotion of tourism and cultural heritage in the city of Kavaja, the project comprised several interconnected components:

  • A Virtual Tour, offering an immersive digital guide to the municipality’s key landmarks and cultural reference points;

  • A two-minute promotional video, highlighting notable sites and the natural beauty of the city;

  • Video reels for social media, presenting the project’s objectives and key achievements;

  • Graphic design for social media, communicating the scope and impact of the initiative;

  • A photographic session of the BLIC exhibition, showcasing works created by the youth of Kavaja.

The Virtual Tour consists of approximately 100 360-degree photographs capturing the city’s most significant cultural and historical sites. Its primary objective is to provide potential visitors with a comprehensive overview of what Kavaja has to offer. The tour was published on the official website of the Municipality of Kavaja, as well as on the ACFD website.

Filming for the official promotional video took place during the summer months in order to best showcase the city’s landscape, including its 30-kilometer coastline of beaches. Beyond its coastal appeal and Mediterranean cuisine, Kavaja is distinguished by its multireligious character, featuring numerous mosques and churches of considerable historical value. These places of worship formed the central focus of the promotional video.

In addition, a series of informational video reels and social media posts were produced to communicate the project’s goals and outcomes, including the design of visual materials and short-form video content for platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
