The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated a global shift toward integrating technology into everyday life, highlighting the urgent need for efficient and accessible digital solutions. This transition required not only technological infrastructure, but also a clear understanding of how digital tools could be meaningfully embedded into daily activities. The outbreak elevated this challenge to an unprecedented level of complexity, reinforcing technology as an essential component of social, cultural, and educational engagement.

Within this context, the development of new tools enabling people to interact with technology became imperative. One of the key objectives of this project was to extend cultural access beyond physical boundaries, allowing users to explore museums from the comfort of their homes. The core focus was the creation of a mobile application designed to bring museum collections to life. The History Museum and the Ethnographic Museum in Krujë, Albania, house a vast number of artifacts, each accompanied by detailed documentation. The primary challenge lay in consolidating this extensive body of visual and descriptive material into a single, cohesive digital platform.

With the invaluable support of the museum’s director, Mr. Mehdi Hafizi, widely regarded as one of Albania’s most knowledgeable and engaging guides, and Mr. Klodian Loka, the application was successfully brought to fruition. As part of the project, a short promotional video was produced, offering a concise overview of the application’s features while also showcasing selected views of the city of Krujë.
